Default energy (fun) build

Before I'll give the build, you should know that this build is made in a silly mood. It's crappy but such fun to play (it's very good for the lazy mesmer, because you don't have to do anything else then spam Mantra of Recal)

Mantra of recall
succor
(balthazars spirit)
ether signet
hex eater signet
mantra of inscriptions
(energy tap)
(res skill)

You cast succor on all casters and chain cast MoR even if youre not fighting to help you keep up your energy high (the teammates won't wait for your energy to refill) cast ether and hex eater if you hit the 0 energy, and mantra of inscripitons if youre recharging. You can cast balthasars spirit if someone is getting a spike for an enegry/adrenaline boost.
Guys really don't use this in PvP. Just use it in PvE and let your teammates know so they can afford it to bring less energy management.
Good Luck, I hope you will have the same fun of being a lazy mesmer

In Everquest 2 there is a class called the coercer (an awesome class!)
When I first moved to Guild Wars I immediately felt that the mesmers were so much like coercers, but they lacked the 'energy battery' role a coercer could offer a group.
If this works it would make me feel at home.
BTW, coercers in EQ2 have many ways to control enemies for short periods of time. I really would like to see mesmers get this ability in the future. Screw game balance. I wants it!
There was nothing more satisfying as taking on a group of monsters and using them to kill each other until one was left and then breaking the charm and killing off them.

Would be cool if you can take over a rangers pet in PvP...

Haha, ill post an actual reply!

I like the build, very lazy indeed. I might give it a shot sometime, i played something similar to this with my warrior by using only adreniline skills. I would cast 2 succors (usually on 2 monks) and use bonettis to refill my bar incase i needed to hit endure pain or something.
